And if you come to the North Scottsdale Farmers Market in the spring before there are tons of crowds in Arizona, you will find everything you want and more. This cool market is open from October to April, making it the ideal off-season thing to do.
We love coming here on the weekend and checking out the food producers, food trucks serving tasty breakfast and sweet treats, unique vendors selling homemade items, handmade jewelry to bring home as gifts, and crafts that are unbelievable. Plus, you can grab an iced coffee at Deja Brew Coffee, a tasty chocolate chip cookie at Desert Diva Cookies, and chewy Challah bread at Proof Bread food stall.
The best time to come here is on a weekend morning so you can get involved with the fuzz and vibe around the place. Head here anytime between 9 am and 1 pm on a Saturday or 10:30 and 2:30 pm on a Sunday for a post-hike treat!
Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market
We love the fact that you can choose a place to stay in charming Old Town Scottsdale, wake up, and walk to the Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market on North Brown Avenue in just a few minutes. Head here between 8 am and 1 pm in the off-season between October and April, or venture here between 8 am and 12 pm in May or June.
We love coming here early in the morning to get a coffee, breakfast, and sit and people watch before it gets too hot in the middle of the day. You can also pick up some tasty breakfast items to bring back to your lovely apartment, like organic eggs, fresh produce, free-range items, and organic meat and fish.
Uptown Farmers Market
Another great spot to check out to purchase local produce, pick up some fresh vegetables for your dinner, or see if there are any types of fruit you want for breakfast in the morning is the Uptown Farmers Market. This expansive market is located at North Phoenix Baptist Church in nearby Phoenix, so you’ll have to drive here to see what they have in store.
However, the 200+ local vendors, incredible food stalls, freshly baked artisan breads, local produce, and live music makes the trip more than worth it. We also love how this farmer’s market is open all year long, including in the heat of the summer, so it is the perfect place to bring kids on a sunny Sunday morning.

The Scottsdale Sparkle Spring Event is a huge craft market right on East Via de Ventura in the heart of the city that takes place at the end of April.
