If you’re looking for the perfect place to go for the upcoming 4th of July holiday then look no further than Scottsdale! While you might not think as Scottsdale as the most exciting vacation spot, we will prove that thought wrong. Check out all the Scottsdale offers for the Scottsdale 4th of July holiday.

Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration at Westworld

Scottsdale throws a 4th of July celebration every single year that brings people from all over the world. And this year is no different! Head to Scottsdale’s 10th Annual 4th of July Celebration on July 4th, 2023. This celebration on a Tuesday is the perfect excuse for a mid-week party! We can’t think of anything better to do for this holiday than head to the decade anniversary of Scottsdale’s huge summer get-together.

Come here any time between 5 pm and 9 pm to take part in the fun. You can wander around the venue, purchase drinks, have tasty food, mingle with your friends, play games, and then stay for the unbelievable fireworks show that starts promptly at 9 pm.

Some of the best activities to take part in during your holiday here are a meet and greet with the infamous doll, Barbie, taking part in junior knight training directly from the old-school medieval times, playing lively and kid-friendly games with your family, participating in traditional cake walks (although it is nothing but a cakewalk!), and watch bull riders take these exciting animals.

There is so much to do here that four hours are almost not enough! Make sure you get here early to try all of the food vendors, participate in the dozens of activities, watch the ‘Mutton Bustin’ bull riding event, and snag a perfect viewpoint for the fireworks over the McDowell Mountains.

Red, White, and Choo Choo

Do you have kids with you for this holiday? Then head to Red, White, and Choo Choo for a family-friendly and exciting event that is perfect for keeping younger toddlers entertained during your vacation! On July 2nd, you can enjoy both traditional attractions and modern activities between 4 pm and 9 pm which are going to be great for kids of various ages.

Take part in bounce houses with your teens, slide down the water slides with your toddlers, and try the foam cannons with your little cousins! We love the endless activities here that take advantage of the pristine weather and good vibes, like the family field games, mechanical bull rides, pie-eating contests, train rides, carousel rides, live music DJ, and fireworks. What more could you want for this national holiday? Plus, this super-fun event is just $15 for anyone older than 13 years old and $5 for children 3 to 12. Talk about a bargain!

Maya Club

Head to Maya Dayclub for the best Sunday of your adult life! If you come to Scottsdale for a fun-filled 4th of July weekend with your older pals, then the Maya Dayclu Is THE place to be. This infamous venue is known as Scottsdale’s best pool party due to the cabana service, VIP offerings, live music, pristine atmosphere, and 21+ rules. Doors open at 12 pm, and the party goes until 6 pm, making it the ideal spot to start a night out on the town with your friends.

Grab a Deal at Mavrix

You can purchase an unlimited fun pass to experience bowling for only $5 more, featuring unlimited chances at laser tag, billiards, and bowling.

Or, keep an eye out for the 4th of July special that you can purchase for you and your group. No matter what, if you come here over the weekend, you can expect 50% off signature lane bowling before noon on Saturdays and Sundays! Plus, you can purchase a $15 unlimited fun pass on ‘Unlimited Monday’!

Outdoor Activities

The last activity to do during your 4th of July weekend in Scottsdale is to get outside and have some fun! We know that you want to party, but it can be nice to start the day with a fulfilling hike, long bike ride, or watersports on the bright blue lakes.

We recommend tackling a nice trail before you have a few beers in the afternoon. Try the Gateway Loop Trail in McDowell Sonoran Preserve for a crowd favorite. We also like Pinnacle Peak Summit Trail for those who want to break a sweat and test their cardio limits. One family favorite trail that is always a huge hit all year round is the Go John Trail in Cave Creek Regional Park. Lastly, the Bajada Nature Trail is nice for those who want an easy and educational trail that really takes in the flora and fauna.

If you would rather head out on the water, check out Chaparral Lake, Canyon Lake, Apache Lake, or Bartlett Reservoir. Take out a paddleboard, kayak, canoe, or rowboat to enjoy the pristine setting of relaxing nature and soak in the far-reaching view of the mountain and desert in the background.
