Girls’ Trip to Scottsdale

HomeArea GuideJourney to ScottsdaleGirls’ Trip to Scottsdale

Our friends make life better, especially as women trying to make their mark in the world. They stand behind us when we need support, they stand in front of us when we need protection, and they hold our hands tightly when we need the reminder that we aren’t doing this painful thing called life alone. A girls’ trip is often the best way to get some friend time in during our busy days and whether you are planning a bachelorette getaway, a college pal reunion, or are just celebrating the friendship you share, a girls’ trip to Scottsdale promises to be the one that makes the happiest memories! Want to make your girls’ trip even more special? Celebrate your femininity in any of our I Love Scottsdale vacation escapes and be comforted, spoiled, and sad when your 3 days in beautiful Scottsdale come to an end! Here are some ideas to get you started!

Day 1: Together Again!

We aren’t always fortunate enough to be living within walking distance of our besties and these 3 days are meant to celebrate the girl pack that is back together again! This first day may get to a slow start as you sleep in after a late night of laughter and reminiscing, so the perfect way to continue your conversations is with a tasty breakfast from Berdena’s! Located in the heart of old town Scottsdale at 7051 E 5th Avenue Suite I, your girls can choose to stay healthy with a hearty avocado toast meal or can dive into the Southwest experience with a thick burrito filled with shredded potatoes, scrambled egg, bacon, black beans, cheddar, avocado, house chipotle, and a smoky salsa! The coffee is too good to skip, so be sure to enjoy a cup or two of your favorite! After the meal, the day will stretch out before you and since you are already in Old Town Scottsdale and you all put on your cutest walking shoes before heading out the door, today is the perfect time to explore its charms! Explore the historic sites on Brown Avenue where the Old Adobe Mission has stood strong for nearly 100 years or check out Cavalliere’s Blacksmith Shop which has been a local tradition since 1910. Old Town Scottsdale is a shopper’s paradise and as you dip in and out of classy boutiques, eclectic stores, and our personal favorite Mully’s Celtic Cottage, you will wish your shopping adventures never had to end!

Day 2: Chilling With the Gals

Today is a day that should be themed chilling and spoiling! The Spa at Gainey Village will be your first stop of the day, located at 7477 E Doubletree Ranch Road, offering 25 rooms of spa experiences destined to change your life! Providing everything from mani/pedis to sports massage, to all manner of spa services, their rooms are large enough to allow your entire group to be spoiled together. Our next all-girls experience is destined to be one you will remember forever, even if there is a short drive and it isn’t a typical Southwest activity. The English Tearoom, located at 201 Easy Street #103 in nearby Carefree is about as female as you can imagine, offering a tea room decorated in chintz and pink roses, the variety of tea experiences they offer is simply exquisite! We suggest you opt for the Formal Afternoon Tea, which provides a 3 tiered presentation of sandwiches, scones, petit fours, and, of course, tea, and don’t even get us started on the multiple pages of teas they serve in this sweet establishment!

Day 3: Living it Up to the Last Moment!

3 days are never enough time to spend with friends you love as family, but as your getaway draws to an end, this last full day in Scottsdale will be crammed full of adventure! Enjoy a free Public Art walking tour, being sure to stop in a few of the galleries you see along the way to pick up some uniquely Scottsdale souvenirs or take a “ride” on the Scottsdale Wine Trail! Offering 7 different tasting spots and a passport which can be stamped at each stay and provides $2 dollars off at each tasting site, you may not remember much of your last day in Scottsdale, but we can promise you had a fantastic time! If you forgo the wine trail, the best way to end your last day in Scottsdale is with a wild night at Wasted Grain, 7295 E Stetson Drive. Offering hot music, cold drinks, and a party that goes on until last call at 2 AM, this iconic Scottsdale nightspot never disappoints!

The Quiet Moments at Home

Although it will never really be quiet when you go on a girls’ trip to Scottsdale, it’s the moments spent tanning by crystal clear pools, sharing chocolate and wine on the back decks as the sun sets over the mountains, and giggling late into the night remembering all the reasons you have stayed friends for so long that will be the ones you remember most!
